How to Change App Language
Smara supports three languages: English, Telugu, and Hindi. You can switch languages at any time.
Steps to Change Language
- Open the Smara app
- Go to Profile from the bottom navigation
- Tap Language Settings
- Select your preferred language:
- English
- తెలుగు (Telugu)
- हिंदी (Hindi)
- The app will immediately update all content to your selected language
What Changes
- All navigation labels and menu items
- Mantra text and descriptions
- Puja guide instructions
- Panchang information display
- Community and event descriptions
What Stays the Same
- Audio mantra recordings remain in their original sacred language (Sanskrit, Telugu, etc.)
- Your profile name and user-generated content are not translated
