Fix Mixed-Language Display Issues

If parts of the Smara app appear in a different language than expected, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Common Causes

  • Language setting not fully applied — The language change may not have refreshed all screens.
  • Cached content — Older content may still be stored in a previous language.
  • Device language conflict — Your device system language may differ from your Smara language setting.

How to Fix

  1. Reconfirm your language setting — Go to Profile > Language Settings and re-select your preferred language.
  2. Restart the app — Close Smara completely and reopen it to force a full refresh.
  3. Clear app cache — On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Smara > Storage > Clear Cache. On iOS, uninstalling and reinstalling the app clears the cache.
  4. Update the app — Ensure you are running the latest version from Google Play or the App Store.

If the Problem Persists

If certain screens still display mixed languages after trying the steps above, it may be a content issue on our end. Please submit a support request with a screenshot showing the mixed-language display and we will investigate.
