Supported Audio Languages

Smara provides mantra audio recordings and accompanying lyrics in multiple languages to support devotees from different linguistic backgrounds.

Available Languages

• Sanskrit — Traditional recitation for most mantras, preserving authentic pronunciation and meter.
• Telugu — Audio and lyrics for mantras commonly recited in the Telugu devotional tradition.
• Hindi — Audio and lyrics for mantras in the Hindi devotional tradition.

Lyrics Display

While listening to a mantra, lyrics are displayed on screen in your chosen app language. The lyrics include transliteration to help with pronunciation regardless of which script you are most comfortable reading.

Selecting a Language for Playback

1. Open a mantra from the Mantras section.
2. If multiple audio versions are available, you will see a language selector on the playback screen.
3. Tap your preferred language to switch the audio track.

Reporting Issues

If you notice incorrect lyrics, mispronunciations, or missing translations, see Report Incorrect Lyrics or Pronunciation to let us know.
