Delete Your Account

If you wish to permanently delete your Smara account and all associated data, you can submit a deletion request from within the app.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Go to Profile > Account Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Read the summary of what will be removed.
4. Enter your email or verify via OTP to confirm your identity.
5. Tap Confirm Deletion.

What Gets Deleted

• Your profile information and preferences
• Sadhana history and streaks
• Mantra playback history and favorites
• Sangam memberships and posts
• Event RSVPs and history

Important Notes

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• If you are a Sangam admin, you must transfer ownership or dissolve the Sangam before deleting your account.
• Deletion processing may take up to 30 days to complete across all systems.
• Any active subscription should be cancelled through your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) before deletion to avoid continued billing.
