Sign-In Problems

If you are having trouble signing into Smara, try the solutions below based on your sign-in method.

Email OTP Sign-In

  • OTP not received — Check your spam/junk folder. Ensure you entered the correct email. Wait 60 seconds before requesting a new code. See Login OTP Not Received.
  • OTP expired — OTP codes expire after a few minutes. Request a fresh code and enter it promptly.
  • Wrong email — Make sure you are using the same email you registered with. Email addresses are case-insensitive.

Google Sign-In

  • Ensure you are selecting the correct Google account.
  • If you see a permissions error, check that Smara is not blocked in your Google account security settings.
  • Try clearing your browser or Google app cache.

Apple Sign-In

  • Apple sign-in requires iOS 13 or later.
  • If you used "Hide My Email" during registration, use the same option when signing in again.
  • Check Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > Apps Using Apple ID to confirm Smara is listed.

General Tips

  • Update Smara to the latest version from your app store.
  • Restart your device and try again.
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
  • If none of these steps work, contact support.
