Manage Privacy Settings

Smara gives you control over your personal information and how it appears to others.

Available Privacy Controls

Navigate to Profile > Privacy Settings to manage:

• Profile visibility — Choose whether your profile is visible to all Smara users, only to members of your Sangam groups, or fully private.
• Sadhana activity — Control whether your sadhana streak and practice stats are visible to others in your Sangam.
• Online status — Toggle whether other users can see when you are active in the app.
• Search visibility — Choose whether your profile appears in user search results.

Data and Privacy

• Smara does not share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• Your spiritual practice data (mantras played, puja history, sadhana logs) is private by default.
• You can request a copy of your data or request deletion at any time. See Delete Your Account for more.

Blocking Users

If you want to prevent a specific user from contacting you or viewing your profile, go to their profile and tap Block User. Blocked users cannot see your activity or send you messages.
