Audio Not Playing
If mantra audio is not playing when you tap the play button, try the following solutions.
Basic Checks
- Check device volume — Make sure your media volume is turned up and the device is not in silent or vibrate mode.
- Check headphone connection — If using Bluetooth headphones, ensure they are connected and selected as the audio output device.
- Check internet connection — Audio is streamed, so a stable internet connection is required. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
App-Level Fixes
- Restart the app — Close Smara completely and reopen it.
- Update the app — Install the latest version from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Clear app cache — On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Smara > Storage > Clear Cache.
Device-Level Fixes
- Restart your device — A simple restart can resolve audio driver issues.
- Check other apps — Try playing audio in another app (e.g., a music player) to confirm your device audio is working.
- Check Do Not Disturb — Some Do Not Disturb settings can suppress media audio on certain devices.
If Audio Starts But Stops
- This is usually caused by an unstable internet connection. Move to an area with better connectivity.
- Close other apps that may be using bandwidth.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact support with your device model and OS version.
